Chapter I General Provisions
Article 1 To enable the general public to abide by the regulations on rail
transit ticketing administration and clarify the charging standards and ticketing principles of the Chongqing Rail Transit System, These Rules are formulated in accordance with the Regulations of Chongqing Rail Transit, Notice on Ticket Prices of Rail Transit Line 1 and Line 3 (Chongqing Bureau of Commodity Prices (2011) No. 249), Chongqing Rail Transit Riding Rules (Road Traffic Safety Law of Chongqing  (2019) No. 1) and other relevant provisions.

Chapter II Basic Ticketing System
Article 2 Metered fares are used for the city’s rail transit, passengers are
allowed to stay in the non-free areas for no more than 270  minutes for each trip. The fares will comply with mileage pricing: 2 yuan (the lowest ticket price) is charged for a single ticket as a starting price, in case of extra mileage, the charge will include the fees for extra mileage. After the extra mileage is charged, the passenger exits by paying his or her non-exceeding mileage. The specific fare rates are as follows:
2 yuan [, 0-6 km (inclusive)]
3 yuan [6-11 km (inclusive)]
4 yuan [11-17 km (inclusive)]
5 yuan [17-24 km (inclusive)]
6 yuan [24-32 km (inclusive)]
7 yuan [32-41 km (inclusive)]

Chapter III Ticket Management
Article 3 Types of tickets.
(1) One-way ticket: A single-trip ticket is only available for a single person and for a limited time on the day of sale, and will be recycled when passengers exit the gate. It is only available at the gate of the ticket purchasing station and cannot be reported lost. Passengers holding tickets to exceed the distance or exceed the time to exit the gate must pay for the ticket according to the regulations.
(2) Commemorative ticket: for tickets that are planned to be issued based on major festivals or commemorative activities, the rules for using them shall be subject to the regulations on the ticket cards issued at that time. Tickets are not refundable and can only be used by one person within the specified period of validity. Tickets are not recycled and cannot be reported lost.
(3) Fixed ticket: The usage times are limited and only a single person can use it within the valid period. Tickets are not recycled, and cannot be reported lost or refunded.
(4) Promissory Ticket: The valid period is limited when issued, and it can be used by a single person with no limit for usage times during the valid period. Tickets are not recycled, and cannot be reported lost or refunded.
(5) Chongqing Payeasy Cards: Issued by Chongqing Payeasy Co., LTD., Including the ordinary card, the free card (the caring-for-the-elderly card, and the love card), the love card, the student card, and the adult card. Passengers can take rail transit only after opening the e-wallet account. All kinds of ticket cards shall be purchased and used according to the relevant regulations of Chongqing Payeasy Co., LTD. The use of each card is restricted to a single person.
Article 4 Validity period of a ticket.
(1) One-way ticket: valid on the current day of purchase.
(2) Commemorative ticket: The ticket shall be determined
according to the validity period marked on the ticket. The  ticket shall be invalid after the validity period or the specified usage times.
(3) Fixed ticket: The ticket shall be determined according to the validity period marked on the ticket. The ticket shall be invalid after the validity period or the specified usage times.
(4) Promissory ticket: it is determined according to the validity period marked on the ticket, after which the ticket becomes invalid.
(5) Chongqing Payeasy Card: The validity period will comply with the relevant regulations of Chongqing Payeasy Co., LTD.
Article 5 Preferential ticket policies.
(1) Chongqing Easypay card, opening an e-wallet account of the adult card, can enjoy a 10% discount on the one-way price.
(2) Students who have opened an e-wallet account can enjoy a 50% discount on the one-way ticket price.
(3) Disabled servicemen, policemen who have been disabled on duty, and the blind shall ride CRC free of charge with valid certificates.
(4) The elderly within the administrative area of this Municipality who have reached the age of 65 with valid certificates take CRC free of charge; Other first-level and second-level disabled persons can apply for a free card with valid documents and ride free with the card; Third-level or forth-level disabled people with disability can apply for love card with half-price rides; The necessary auxiliary devices carried by the disabled shall be free of charge.
(5) Children under 1.3m (inclusive1.3m) tall can take the rail transit free of charge. If they are preschool children, they must be accompanied by a supervisor.
(6) When using the e-wallet with a Chongqing Payeasy card, passengers may, within the specified time, implement reciprocal preferential transfer between the rail transit and the bus in the main urban area. Specific preferential policies shall be implemented with reference to relevant regulations.

Chapter IV Regulations on the Use of Tickets
Article 6 The purchase and use of tickets.
(1) Passengers can purchase one-way tickets at the ticket office by cash or by scanning the QR code.
(2) One passenger one ticket policy.
(3) Children taller than 1.3 meters must buy the full-price ticket.
(4) The weight of the luggage carried by each passenger shall not exceed 20 kg, and the sum of length, width, and height shall not exceed 2 meters. Exceeding the above provisions, the passenger is banned to ride.
(5) Passengers shall enter the gate by swiping a valid ticket and exit the gate by swiping the same ticket.
(6) Passengers who need reimbursement vouchers can ask for them at the ticket office where they purchased or recharged their tickets.
Article 7 Regulations on over-time rides.
The time limit is 270 minutes from entry to exit. If you exceed the time limit, you need to pay the full overtime fare according to the highest ticket price on the line (except for rail traffic reasons).
Article 8 Regulations on over-distance rides.
If the one-way ticket fare is not enough to cover the actual fare at the station, the over-distance fare (except for rail traffic reasons) shall be paid.
Article 9 Regulations on either over-time or over-distance rides.
If a passenger takes one ride over time and over distance, he/she shall pay the full fare according to the highest ticket price of the line (except for rail traffic reasons).
Article 10 Provisions on damage or loss of tickets.
After entering the gate, passengers who lose their tickets, artificially damage their tickets, use expired, forged, or altered tickets, or ride by other deceptive means shall pay the full fare according to the highest ticket price on the line.
Article 11 Provisions for errors in the order of ticket entry and exit.
If the ticket has entered the gate record but the passenger has not entered the gate, he or she can go through the procedure of eliminating the record free of charge within 20 minutes at the selling station; If the passenger does not enter the gate for more than 20 minutes from the entry record, the one-way ticket is invalid and will be recycled by the station, and the passenger needs to buy a new ticket. A Chongqing Payeasy card shall pay at the lowest single-trip fare for the type of ticket used.
Article 12 Regulations on the use of Chongqing Payeasy cards.
If a passenger uses the Chongqing Payeasy card to take rail transit, he/she should abide by the relevant use regulations of Chongqing Payeasy Co., LTD. When the Chongqing Payeasy card is abnormal in use, the Chongqing Payeasy Co., LTD is responsible for handling it. If the balance of the card is insufficient, he/she should first recharge it at the ticket booth or automatic ticket machine and then swipe the card to exit, or purchase one-way tickets for the same journey.
Article 13 Provisions on refund of tickets.
(1) One-way ticket: for one-way tickets sold on the current day without inbound information, passengers can refund the purchased value of the ticket at the ticket office; If the CRC cannot run normally, it may refund the passenger's ticket.
(2) Commemorative, fixed, and promissory tickets: they are non-refundable upon sale.
(3) Chongqing Payeasy cards: the refund is accepted by Chongqing Payeasy Co., LTD. to relevant regulations.
