After the examination and approval of the municipal government, Chongqing Rail Transit implements mileage pricing and distance-decreasing fares. Metered fares are used for the city’s rail transit, passengers are allowed to stay in the non-free areas for no more than 270 minutes for each trip. The fares will comply with mileage pricing: 2 yuan (the lowest ticket price) is charged for a single ticket as a starting price, in case of extra mileage, the charge will include the fees for extra mileage. After the extra mileage is charged, the passenger exits by paying his or her non-exceeding mileage. The specific fare rates are as follows:

Currently, the maximum ticket price is 10 yuan for a one-way ride, based on the ticket price standard, the price of a preferential ticket is capped at 7 yuan.
