To facilitate passengers to transfer between rail transit and buses in the main urban area, the “Implementation Rules” are hereby formulated in the spirit of the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee on January 4, 2013.
1. One-hour free or preferential transfer scope
Within the main urban area of Chongqing, the one-hour free or preferential transfer is implemented between any two transportation means among buses, Yangtze River cableways, escalators at Lianglukou, Kaixuan elevators, and rail transit.
?One-hour free or preferential transfer conditions
Passengers using any ordinary Chongqing Payeasy card can enjoy one free and preferential transfer within one hour when spending the amount of an electronic wallet.

?One-hour free or preferential transfer timing
The bus starts from the first time swiping the card, and the “free or preferential transfer” rail transit or bus once within one hour; The time of rail transit starts from the time of card swiping at the exit gate, and the “free or preferential transfer” bus takes place once within one hour.

?Details of free or preferential transfer
(1)The amount of discount shall not exceed the amount of the first card charge, and the maximum range is 2 yuan/time. That is, if you swipe the card for the first time for 1 yuan, you will be free of 1 yuan; If the card is used for the first time for 1.5 yuan, 1 yuan or 1.5 yuan will be exempted according to the actual fare payable; If the card is used for the first time for 2 yuan or more, 1 yuan, 1.5 yuan or 2 yuan will be exempted according to the actual fare payable (see the attached table for details).
(2)The use of special types of Chongqing Payeasy cards (including Adult Card, Student Card, Elderly Care Card, Love Card, etc.) will continue to use the original free or preferential policies.
(3)Passengers with the Love Card will enjoy a half-price discount by the “Chongqing Municipal Regulations on the Protection of the Disabled” for the first time. If you transfer to bus or rail transit with a card within one hour, you can enjoy a free discount of 2 yuan or less at the time of transfer. If you still need to pay for the part beyond the “free or discount”, you can enjoy a half-price discount.
(4)Passengers who buy tickets in cash will not enjoy one hour free of charge.
(5)When passengers enjoy the free or preferential transfer, the part exceeding the “free or preferential” shall be paid according to the actual situation, and they will no longer enjoy a 10% discount.
(6)Any passenger who has swiped his card for transfer for more than one hour or has enjoyed a free transfer between rail transit and buses or buses within one hour, needs to buy a new ticket.
The “Implementation Rules” will be implemented from January 15, 2013, and the original one-hour half-price transfer discount will be suspended at the same time.
